Wellington Fireworks

Wellington hosts a large range of local fireworks displays. From Chinese New Years to Diwali the Wellington events team work hard to provide a safe environment for the people of wellington to enjoy.

Below we have a list of all the firework displays in the wellington region.

The Above displays are only some of the Firework display available for the community.

The Wellington Sky Show is one of the largest firework displays in the country and was fired over the guy fawkes period but has now been moved to cover the Matariki Festival, A decision made by the council to move New Zealand away from celebrating Guy Fawkes.

The display has a budget of around 150k and is setup on barges in the Wellington harbor. This display consists of large calibre display shells and are made up of a mixture of  Display cakes and multi shot candles and mines. 

We are super excited every year to try and tender for this display and are in continued contact with the event team to jump on the opportunity.

We look forward to one day be able to fire this display and call it a Pyro International Display.
