Once the display was designed and approved by the rotorua lakes council we began the process of labeling and gearing up for the display, loading the modules with each script while thoroughly testing the shows through our system to ensure the display went off without a hitch.
As you can see in the images above the setup process for this show was intense and wet. Our team did hire boats to help with transport to each firing position but with the lake only being knee hight it was a slow process sometimes faster to just walk.
With the whole team suited up in beautiful green waders we all looked the part to tackle the wet environment and wade our way to each barge to load product and get ready for the midnight firing.
The biggest challenge with this display was getting both displays loaded and wired in time for each display. because our display used over 40 firing modules we were unable to load both displays ready to fire.
All in all the display went great and we were able for execute two fantastic displays for the community.
We look forward each year to tendering for this display as it is really something special.
